Why Being Spiritual is Torture

Updated: Sep 7, 2019

There are many in the spiritual community that love to share their passion and knowledge to help expand the consciousness of the human race, and also to help individuals feel good. But little do we think about how this knowledge that we share will affect the person we are trying to help.

Not everyone will understand the spiritual knowledge that you have to share, especially if they are just awakening or especially when they are in a state of suffering. It’s not always about feeling good. To tell someone to be happy and giving them directions on how to be happy, because that is what works for you, doesn’t necessarily mean that it will work for another, especially if the other individual is a state of distress and what we call the dark night of the soul.

What you are asking them to do is basically run to the top of the Mountain when they can't even walk. All they see is black, stuck in the bottom of the pit and they just can’t seem to get out of it.

One reason could be because that they haven't yet learned the basic fundamental rules of the universe such as the law of attraction and therefore being in a potential ego state of mind that is not understanding the message you are trying to convey. They don't understand that concept due to the disconnect.

This simply means that they are not a match to your frequency or level of understanding, so they cannot see a way out of their predicament, and saying to that individual to be happy, be optimistic, you are creating more of what you are feeling right now; is making it worse.

Or the second reason: they may be awakened, but they just have to find their own way out of this ‘bad place’ they find themselves in, and learn the lessons attached to it. We shouldn’t be taking lessons away from anyone. Our awareness and understanding for life expand through experience.

It’s the same when it comes to where you are spiritually. All of us have different spiritual understandings and it's like comparing your spirituality to Christianity or any other religion. They may as well be on opposite sides of the world.

The best way to help is to listen and not give advice. They may just need to speak their mind and they will most likely find that the answers will come to them naturally.

When they ask you to explain, then try and explain through the use of analogies and KISS: keep it simple stupid. It's always simple and it’s only us who complicates things.

If you find that you have clients who are stressed, energy healing may also be a great place to start. This will temporarily bring the body back into balance.

When our mind and frequency don't align, it may rise, or drop back down, until we see the obstacles that need to be overcome.

So, when helping someone just awakening. Take it easy. Help them with meditation, suggest a BQH session, so that they can give themselves the answers, or just by being a listening ear. Don't overwhelm them. As that may hinder their progress and be open toward understanding a different perspective.

Always work with love, and the highest, and best intention for all.
